I got 97 mustang v6 motor and tranny wondering what I need to put it in 2000 body

I would suggest a better plan. Technically speaking, it puts an older motor into a newer car which can't be street legal in the US.

The actual physical challenge isn't too bad. 2000 uses a different K-member, so you'd have to swap to an older 96-98 style K. You'd also need the under hood wiring harness, dash harness, ECU, swap to an entire return style fuel system (the 2000 V6 was returnless) and address the PATS issues. All in all, you're looking at more money/time than just getting the correct 2000 motor and dropping it in.
