I have a 2001 vert, V6 with almost 300K on it. Recently picked up a 78 lincoln with the 400 / auto. I picked up the car because I was told it had a 302, but after research the vin it has a 400. Got it anyway cause it was free... How hard is it going to be to bolt the engine / tranny in the car? sticking with a carb so I know fuel pressure and going to install a return line to the tank. How about exhaust? Anyone know if stock manifolds will clear steering linkage? That's normally where the problems arise from what i read... Tried searching but not much info on the 400's in these cars...
