hello folks,
I have 1991 fox-body 2.3 L. im not happy being a 4 cyl. owner so please dont give **** about it lol.
well after a long time of searching to find a foxbody cheap enough for me to afford i found 2 a 90 and a 91. the 90 had no motor or trans. the 91 was rusted all the way out beyond repair so i pulled the motor and trans as one unit and put it in the 90 i got the motor in and junked the 91 only to find that the harness was not at all the same hardly anything plugs in apparently the 90 was a distributor and the 91 was a coil with 8 spark plugs so does that mean the 91s motor has a dual overhead cam???? is that a good thing??? my buddy before the 91 got put on a flat bed and hauled off to the yard cut the wiring harness right at the firewall and pulled the computer with it so i do have the old harness so my question is how do i splice in the 91 harness to the 90?? or a simpler one how do i get the daggon thing to run??? im in serious need of help. i dont how to do this kinda thing ive never encountered an issue like this one here. if anyone on this site has any kind of knowledge to lend please please please help me!
