Currently I have the motor dropped in the car. The harness that came with the motor for the ecu is pretty much screwed. Was wondering if I could use the gt harness instead or is there away to modify the harness to make it work.

I wouldn't even mess with that abortion of a harness that you pictured; that's the stuff nightmares are made of.
I used the GT engine harness with a Mach 1 ECU when I installed my 03 Mach engine into my 02 GT and there were a few mouse turds that I had to leap over.
I had to lengthen the coil wires, the cam and crank sensor wiring and had to make the knock sensor harness from the sensors themselves all the way to the ECU plug . Because the GT harness doesn't have the wiring for the knock sensors and I wasn't about to rip out my dash to replace the ECU to engine bay section of harness I ran the 4 wires (2 per) for the knock sensors separately to the back of the ECU plug.
I went to the bone yard and salvaged the plug from an ECU harness and pulled some pins to use. Then I VERY CAREFULLY drilled the holes in the correct locations on the plug to install pins for that part of the puzzle.
It's kind of a pain in the dick but when you're finished, you'll be throwing rocks at your old SOHC setup.

Thanks! appreciate the help. I actually found some videos and some stuff on other forums about modifying the gt harness, so me and a buddy did that this weekend. Was a pain in the *** but just waiting on my upper intake manifold gaskets and heater core hose to see if it works. Hopefully it does but I’ll keep you updated.
