Default Just some tips for 3.8 owners

I recently replaced my 2001 mustang v6 engine with one from a 1996 mustang 3.8, and everything works perfectly. Just as long as u use the harness for the engine you use because 1994-1998 have different harnesses as 1999-2004. And the only problem you will have is that the cluster will have to be modified for a older engine because in mine my temp and oil gauge won't work so I installed aftermarket gauges. Just don't let people tell you that engines won't fit your car all you gotta do is modify it to work.

Good to know but why would you replace a 99-2004 V6 with a 94-98 V6? You just lost about 45 hp and 5 tq of power with the older engine.

Well it takes some tuning it of course and it now pushing more power than my split port ever did.
