Default 2000 vs 2005 Windsor block

Would a 2000 block work in a rebuild of a 2005 4.6 ?

I’d like to say I have 0 experience doing any sort of motor swaps. However, I know the mounts for the 4.6 work on every one of the Ford “modular” motors, even the coyote. It is the same motor so I don’t really see why it wouldn’t work.

On a side note though, (I’m not trying to be a dick, just letting you know) the Windsor was a 5.0 used up until 1995 on Mustang GTs. Pretty sure the name for the 4.6 is literally just “modular 4.6”
