Yeah it is the older mustangs that the IIs. Apparently theres nothing that seperates the gas tank and the trunk. Its kinda scary, theres prolly some people who drive them without getting the firewall.

i think your confused. the gas tank mounts under the trunk, its not like its built in or anything. its exactly the same as it is in virtually 98% of the cars on the road.

Look on craigslist.org and collectorcartrader.com as far as night driving your fine depending on which license plate you have on it.If you have anquite car plates you can only drive it sundays and in a parade but not state really enforces it tho.Firewall is the metal between you and the engine your thinking of a rear divider.Thats a old wise tail too getting rear ended in a older car won't burst in a fire ball.I got rear ended hard in my 65 impala the gas tank busted but no fire ball.Only car i ever seen do that was a 95 impala ss that was hit by a semi head on on i71 here. There was a 60 min report years ago saying the 73-87 chevy truck with the rear tank would blow up in a wreck they didn't tell you they riged the truck with explodes.Out of all honestly your more liking to die from a fall in your bathroom them a fire ball from being rear ended.
