Can you power your house with an F250?
My brother's got him one of those extra heavy super duty 4X4 Ford trucks. The kind you drive when it's the end of the world. Anyway, it's got that big diesel and the power plug on the bumper. He lives out in a rural area that loses power a lot. He want's to know if he can power his house with it. I told him I saw some guy on that TV show Jericho powering his house with a Jeep Cherokee. Of course that's TV and things are not always for real.

if the F-250's power plug is indeed a 115vac OUTLET, then he
probably could backfeed it into his homes breaker panel,
to run the 115vac outlets. i would not recommend it however.

I would venture to say that the plug on the diesel engine is for the block heater. It does not output power. The truck would have to have an inverter or generator to output voltage. He could install a mechanical inverter that would run off of the engine of the truck, however, it would have to be capable of outputing somewhere in the neighborhood of 160 amps to feed a average size house. Let me know if I can provide more information, I am electrical engineer for the nations2nd largest utility company, and this is what I do.
