Automatic? Come on man, that's no fun, Mustangs shouldn't be automatic. Might as well get a V6 while you're at it haha

But yea sounds awesome other than that man, pretty close to what I'd get basically(if I had the money lol). I'd love to have a grabber blue convertible GT, black top, 5 speed.

Never learned to drive a stick and NYC traffic is really not conducive to a manual. I have called a few driving schools and none teach driving a stick.

Take it from me. I never owned a stick before my current car. I will NEVER own another sports car in manual. Stick is so much more fun. I know during traffic days you'll hate it and learning will be a little frustrating since you have only driven automatic cars, but its sooooo worth it.

I agree with S281 E... Sports/muscle car stick! My commuter Mazda 3 is automatic. Great for stop and go, but low on the fun side.

On another note doesn't stick = manual?

nothing more than a typo on his part....

I still have a hard time swallowing a 35+ sticker price.

I know it was back in '98 when my car was new, but the sticker on it with all of it's options was barely 22-23K....

close to twice that in 12 years?...that's steep..

Wow that sucks man, come down to VA I'll teach you on mine haha. But yea I've only known how since June, after I got my license I just didn't have anything I could learn on(my cousin sold his Mustang right around when I got it, he was gonna teach me first but it sold faster than he expected). Then once I started at the dealer one day I went to my boss to tell him I couldn't pull one in cause it was manual and he was shocked but I just didn't have anything to learn on haha. So he took me out back and taught me on a Ranger. You can pick it up pretty quick.

Like everybody else said though, manual is a must on a sports car, it's WAY more fun, once you have one you can't imagine it being an automatic, it would suck. I don't know man, tell a salesman at the dealer to teach you lol I'm sure they will if it'll get you in a $35k car and if you do you'll be really glad you did.

I taught a friend how to drive stick in about 5 minutes, while I was ****-faced drunk(the reason I was teaching him in the first place lol) he then drove us about 30 minutes home with little more guidance lol

It's easy dude.

try telling that to my g/f. I've taught 4 others to drive a stick in less than 10 minutes, but it took her 3 times out of an hour each time to sorta get it down lol

Bah don't listen to 'em.

While you're mashin the pedal at the light the guy with the manual is missing gears and playing catch up. I'd say with that 5.0 "Good luck with the catching up"

Auto>Manual for me anyday. But I drive a truck so I like being able to just cruise now and again and give my knee a rest lol.
