2010 Price Drops??
Just curious for some input/opinion regarding 2010 prices. I'm leaning toward buying a 2010 GT Premium. When do you think the prices should bottom out with the new '11's on the lot? I know there are still many 2010's out there for the dealers to move. I'm looking for a Torch Red, Auto, with a low enough price that I won't regreat not paying more for a 2011. What's reasonable to pay now??

Well i got my 10 Gt premium a few months before the 11's landed for around $28K. soemone will be in shortly to tell you that you are crazy to get the 10 rather than the 11. this is the time to buy a 10 if you don't care about eh 5.0 or cant pass up the discounts. I'd bet you can get a premium right now for $25-26 if 11's are on the lot. i say grab the 10, toss on the blower, and burn some rubber. Oh, and yu will ge tmore responses in teh 05-11 section, maybe a mod will move it, not sure many of us come in here.

Dang, 25-26k for a 2010 premium? They wanted at least 28k for a base model last summer when I was looking for a car. I ended up getting a Hyundai genesis coupe 2.0 track. Its a fun car and has some decent power now with the reflash, but no way I'll ever get close to even the 4.6 performance without at least a turbo and intercooler upgrade. I'd be all over one of the left over Mustang gt's if I could, but since my lease has 2 years left and I'm thinking of filing BK, I'm probably out of luck for at least a couple more years. But maybe by then you can get a deal on one of the 5.0's...

If it was me... i'd pick 2010. Yea the 2011 are prob 10x better and ya ya ya (lol) but really i agree w/ ShaneM here. Heck maybe even an Gt for 23K?? You basically get the same car and your saving a bundle of money that can go for extras such as a S/C, suspension, Tuner, gears. I'd prob pay up to 25 eh 26 tops for an 2010. Anymore and just do a 2011 imo.

Lets face it. The 11 is going to be a better car when it comes to performance, that's a gimme. But the exterior (don't know about the interior) looks the same. I agree man get the 10, get a blower and have the satisfaction of having the last year of the 4.6.. I really don't see Ford ever bringing the 4.6 back.
