Default Jay Leno Reviews the 2011 Mustang GT

He loves it, and I especially liked that he pointed out how Ford didn't take any bailout money.

Damn straight! Big Brother don't own any part of Ford like it does GM & Chrysler! Ford passed up the bail-out money and now is offering cars like the 2011 GT Premiums that are keeping up with $55000 Beamer M3's

I just want to further illustrate your point by saying the BMW M3 coupe STARTS at $58,400! With any options, it's easily a $60k car! You could buy two 2011 GT's for that price! It is truly the best current factory performance car for the buck.

Great review by Jay! Glad you posted it
Everytime I drive by the dealer now I drool over the new 5.0. I cant wait to have one, but I'll give them a while to depreciate first The only problem with waiting is that by the time I can finally get the 2011 they'll have a new one out with even more power and better options, lol.

OR instead of buying two 2011's you could buy one and I'm sure by next year at this time the aftermarket parts will be out of the "testing" stages or they will be more refined. Although I dont really see it happening, imagine sticking that extra $30k into the car. You would do a lot with the handling and make it handle even better, and then I'm sure you could get a few extra ponies out of the car too people will have street legal modded 5.0 Mustangs that will be keeping up with cars that cost $150k+. But I guess for $150k you get more luxuries usually... massage seats, etc. etc.

Damn straight, but actually, if I had $55K plus, I would go all ***** out and buy a Shelby GT500, which would totally trump the M3 for the SAME PRICE!

And back to Jay Leno, he actually also did an article on the M3 too.
I wonder how Jay feels about the 2011 GT vs the M3?

That's one of the reasons I bought a Ford over Chevy and Dodge. Dodge and GM seem to be standing still. Maybe they do not have any money for R&D or they put everything on hold during the bailouts. The Challenger looks cool, but it is on the 3rd model year with no improvements and other than the rumored 6.4 Hemi nothing new planned. Same for GM with the Camero, a sharp looking car with a good engine but somehow it did not impress me that much during the test drive.
