Wheels swap
I only have 335 miles on my new 2011 GT premium. It came with the polished mustang club 18 inch wheels. I really want black wheels. My question is....what is the best way to go about getting the wheels I want....but selling or trading my perfect new ones? I am new to the car world...so I am very unfamiliar with ways to go about buying and selling.
Thanks! Shawn

Lawl. Wrong section man. Don't worry about that though. You can certainly sell your originals, tovhelp you cover the cost of the new ones. The only caveat to that is if you ever sell the car. Some people will try to make you lower your selling price since the car doesnt come with it's original wheels. Post them on craigslist, once you have been here for 30 days and have 50 posts, you will have access to our for sale section. You can post them there as well. Just remember to read the "RULES" thread first. Sell them now while they have minimal road chips/ no curb rash. Don't expect to get $1K for them, if you want to gwt them sold fast $425 is porb a good price. americanmuscle.com has a great selection of wheels for late model mustangs. Welcome to the car world, you will have some frustrations as with any learning process, but stick with it and you will learn A LOT.
Note: Even though this is a mustang forum, you will find that most people here have a very open mind about cars. While the majority of the forum is certainly here for the mustang, this means that many of us like cars other than mustangs, and even non-domestics. We have a lot of members that have these cars. So keep an open mind.

It usually just comes down to whether or not you can afford the new ones without selling the old one. If the car's gonna remain stock for the most part, a lot of guys like to hold onto their stock parts so they can convert it back to factory stock if they ever decide to sell it.
Then again, a lot of people who mod cars are living paycheck by paycheck and the quickest way to new parts is to sell the old ones, haha.
