Show cars are frequently exercises in futility. The wheels will always be too big, the tires too skinny to be useful. Chrome 'n Creations built this Mustang to show off their fancy paint, but we didn't expect them to actually take it to the track. Much less blow past 180 mph in a mile. That kind of practical application is uncommon and much welcomed.

Yup, I was there and saw it. They were spraying and had to raise the rev limiter to get it up there over 180, I'm pretty sure they said they were running a very low gear set (something in the 2.xxs) & taller tires so they could get there in 4th gear! Nice to see a show with go!
