Default Running after intake swap

After 2 years i finally got the car fixed. Had a cracked intake so i did a NPI to PI intake swap. also installed a new water pump, belt, new plugs, and put on all new injectors o rings. It's not running 100% yet, i have new plug wires on order and the gas in it is 2 years old. next mods i wanna do is a cold air intake, shorty headers and H-pipe then a good tuner. Already has a flowmaster cat back. I wanna take it auto crossing this spring so i also wanna do some suspension upgrades.

That's cool man. I'm thinking about doing the swap myself, as my '98 is leaking more than ever. Did you use adapter plates like from Livernois or did you just RTV it?

Cool cool. Did you have to tune the car afterwards? I'm hearing two different sides to this: you HAVE to tune and you DON'T have to tune for the new intake. Personally, I imagine you'd have to...

well it seems to run just fine with out it but i'm sure it wouldn't hurt. But I have not driven the car on the street yet just around the driveway and i probably wont drive it till spring. But i do plan on buying a sct tuner, probably will need it to get the max hp out of the intake.
