hello everyone i am musclecar enthusiast and though i dont currently own a mustang i soon will and have worked on them for my friends. so i firmiliar with them and have driven and raced many. I will soon be purchasing a new 2006 mustang either a v6 or v8 i have not yet decided. money is a factor as im only 18 but i do have funds and have been around cars all my life. so im debating buying outright a V6 mustang or getting the GT and making payments. this car won't be used for the drag strip although it will be taken there from time to time for et's and to test it but i have a 02 Z28 that i drag. I will be using the car as a daily driver and commuting to college in the fall bout 30 mins away everyday. gas prices are not an issue. any input is welcome thank you and i have been a guest here for a while and everyone seems really cool.

why not get a 99-04 GT, even better, for the price of a new GT you might be able to find a cobra, but you could deff get a mach, also, gas, not sure on the new ones but 90% of the 99-04s, the GTs get better milage then the 6ers

i didnt know about the gas mileage but i really like the styling and interior of the 05-06 yea i am a huge fan of the 03-04 cobras porbly my fav mustang. but there aren't any around here and the few i find are convertibles which i don't like. and thanks for the welcome guys.
