Default Hey everybody

I'm a new mustang owner. i just got my '95 5.0 last week. i'm interested in talking to people with the same car(or similar) about mods and good stuff to do, i'm 17 and a girl so i don't know everything, but i definitely want to know more. i'm wondering about how hard it is to change the tail lights in the 95. i know i've seen them with the vertical headlights like on the '98 model but i haven't been able to find any info about it online. i know it's possible but if there's anyone out there who's done it or knows how PLEASE resond. thanks

Congrats on your new ride she'll treat you well mine has

for those rear tails the connectors are different for the newer ones.. you ll need to change out the connectors and then throw in the new ones, the light patterns on the back are still the same also....

Nice to have you here

i have a 94 mustang and my brother has the 97, he has the vertical lights. they are the same, size and mounting-wise, i believe. All you might need to do is to go to the junkyard and cut the wiring harness off of a junker and splice it onto your existing wiring. It should cost you like... $2 in addition to the cost of the lights themselves. You could always sell your original lights for $50 or something on ebay.

I wonder why Ford went with horizontal tail lights in the 94 and 95 versions. Three vertical element tail lights have been one of Mustang's traditional features since 1964.
