i am about to get an 06 GT prem coupe manual torch red with the medium parchment interior. i'm getting $3500 off of sticker and it's below invoice. only 16 miles on the odo yet i'm skeptical. should i be? convertibles are $500 under sticker + the $1500 cash back in my area. anyway hello and i can't wait to get my new mustang!

thanks for the welcome guys and gals. i'm coming from a mazda rx-8. great car loved it but it was totalled 2 weeks ago. never owned a mustang so i'm looking forward to it.

I could be wrong but a lot of dealers don't let you take a GT for long test drives (or so they claim) so I don't think 16 on odo is out of the ordinary. Mine had 19 miles on it when I picked it up (and 38 when I got home boo), and mine was 3000 below msrp and below invoice as well (according to ConsumerReports, the dealer ended up making about $1000 from the sale). Because the 2007 models just came out last month or so (I think) this might be a great time to buy.
