25th Anniversary Mustang

Hey, my name is Kyle. I have heard alot about this site and thought i should join up.

I own a "Twilight Blue" 1990 25th anniversary LX Convertible 5.0... that is ALL original. I know some poeple cant live with originality, but it is one thing i believe in when it comes to cars.

I thought the "unofficial" 25th anniversary Mustang was the 7UP LX convertibles of late '89-early'90. They were supposed to given away through a promotion with 7UP, I think some were, but not all.... they were all Emerald green with white tops and white leather interiors w/ GT turbine wheels, this kind of set off Ford with doing special edition LX 'verts from '90-'93, all 5.0L V-8s all with colors/trim not available on other Mustangs. Just my recollection.

No your right off the top off your head, but.... from April of 89' to April of 90', I believe all of the LX's were crowned 25th anniversary editions. Within that same time span 2000 some-od 7-up mustangs were made with the color of "emerald green" with a white trim on the inside and the wheels. My mustang is simply the 25th anniversary edition. The 7-up mustangs were given the name"25th anniversay special edition mustangs." Like you said, it was sort of unofficial.
