1st timer checking in

Dave here in Western Mass. I own an 85 GT convertible that's all original except exhaust. I'm getting ready to repaint my baby and would love to hear from you all with any do's and dont's.
This seems like a great place to exchange information and I'm looking forward to participating in this forum.
