Default New Member with serious ?

Hey guys I just bought a 1995 Mustang. It's a V6 3.8L. I really wanted a GT but for the price it was good. I need to know what do you think If I were to put Dual Exhaust Flowmasters on the whip ? Would I be wasting my time and money on this ? I need advice on what mods to do first.

Thankyou,

You could run duals with flows on your car and it wouldnt sound bad at idle or under light acceleration. Just when your RPM's get high it will start to droan out. Post your questions for V6 stangs in the V6 part of the site. they will be able to help you with any question about your car. I dont know much about parts for your car so i cant help you as much as they can. As of first mods you want to do to your car...i would suggest. Gears ( 3.73's for a manual and 4.10's for an auto), cold air intakes are a good first cheap mod, and under drive pullies. the gears will be a night and day difference and the CAI and pullies will give you 10 to 20 hp depending on what you get. correct me if im wrong ppl. i just dont know how they would affect a V6. Hope you enjoy MF as much as we all do. good luck

Welcome to the forums first of all. Second of all your already starting with some pretty ****ty horsepower but if you really want to make it fast hit up the v6 section and ask some questions there. Id start off with a CAI, exhuast, U/D pullies, gears and a tlok. Start with full boltons and work your way up to an s/c or turbo. If you want quick gains right away and dont want to spend money on boltons. id do gears and tlok, h/c/i, and an s/c or turbo ur choice really.

welcome to the forums

GT take offs with force mufflers from summit racing for best sound

get a motor out of a supercoupe and a set of 4.10 gears with a detroit true trac and you can rape 99-04 GTs
