brand new member and need help
Hello to all and need your imput
I bought a 4 cyl 1986 mustang from a junk dealing friend. He knew I was looking for a mini stock race car. When I went to get it I expected a junk or wrecked car. It has a 12 inch cut in the drivers door about as thin as a knife. I don't know how it did it without denting the door. As I was expecting a hole lot more of the same damage but, that is it. This car is in perfect shape inside and out. (It could use a paint job but, its not that bad,no rust) Grey in color and we all know what that does. All 4 stock 16 "wheels included. I know the guy's father that had him tow it off for him. I think I can get the title. The tranny is bad but, I bought one for but havn't installed it yet. I found out that it is not the motor that they use for racing. I will have to change over to the fuel injectoin. What do you guys and gals think I should do with the car???? I put a battery in it and it started right up, no smoke or noise. I race a Quad 4 in a calsis. The Quad 4 group is up on the quads as I expect that you all are on mustangs. Thanks for any imput.

Ill get some pictures up soon. I have been in the 4 cyl forums every sence I posted this. This is a great forum for mustangs. I had a 66 fastback 2+2 when I was young. (Wish I still had it. Lost it to the jaws of life by accident.) After reading on here I im thinking I should put this baby on the road with a turbo. I can alwas make a race car out of it later. hehe
