RE: Buying first stang soon, I have questions.
you dont save that much money buying a v6 over a gt.... if your getting it to keep get a GT worth more down the road and gt's always sells good and a v6 takes for ever to sell..
if you want to be different twin turbo a gt..
the v6 gets 19 mpg in town and 28 on the interstate
the gt gets 17 mpg in town and 25 on the interstate..
well worth the sacrifice to me.....

You can always do what I did and visit all the dealers you can and drive both V6 and GT to see what you like. No question for me had to be the GT.

i checked last year on an 06 gt before i bought my 89 gt and with state farm full coveragethey quoted me 134 a month. and im 26 now 25 then..... a v6 isnt going to be 34 a month... so you might save 30 a month and him being 40 it will be cheaper on him.... i pay 85 a month on my 89 gt.... unless your under 25 its not going to be that bad for a gt....

I would suggest test driving them both with Auto & Manual. Call your insurance man and get quotes on both.I went with the V6 Automatic.Impressive powerfor a V6.Bought mine in December with manufacturer and dealer incentives. Her exhaust is very quiet and she will remain stock.
