Havin trouble adding an avatar pic

Keep getting the message that it exceeds the dimension limit. Even though it's only 17.8KB and it says the limit is 20KB. Any pointers on what I'm doing wrong. I even cropped the pic as small as I could possibly get it.

May exceed the width or lenght. Dunno. Try resizing it again and making it a little smaller.
