Hello, rookie with a question.
Hello, I just purchased an 89 mustang lx vert. The car is in great shape, motor rebuilt to stock specs, new top, paint in 2004, new clutch and throw out bearing. The only performance mods made to it are, flowmaster exhaust w/ high flow cats, cold air intake. It also has x style subframe connector w/driveshaft loop. I have about $750 bucks to put into it ,at this time ,and was curious what upgrades would give me the most bang for my buck? I was thinking upper and lower intake, pullies....any suggestions? I paid $4,200 for the car, sound like a good deal?? I'm new to the fox body mustang game, my past cars have been 72 chevelle and a 65 plymouth satellite, Any help would be great, Thanks!

RE: Hello, rookie with a question.
First off welcome to the forums, you'll find great help around here.. Next you should do to mod you car in my opinion is gears... Most people do 3.73's for a manual or unless you do LOTS of highway driving then go 3.55's.. Next it depends on what you want the car for.. A street driven nasty car that will smoke most people on the street or a track car...
