the new guy
hey guys i am the new guy to this. i am 18 years old and am from middletown delaware. i go to the university of delaware as a full time student trying to major in mechanical engineering. i have 2 mustangs. one is an 88 mustang t top that me and my dad have completely rebuilt. we got it in a junk yard as a 4 cyl lx with no interior and the dash was beaten out with a sledge hammer. since then i have replaced the interior, converted it to a gt with a stock 5.0l with an auto aod(junk). it was plenty of motor for me at 16 years old. it has been upgraded with sn95 front brakes, full exhaust, 5 lug ranger axles, bullitt wheels, and some other misculanious stuff. but the worst night of my life came this past september when i wrecked it by hydroplaning at about 60 mph during a hurricane. i now i was going too fast. i slid up an embankment and twisted the body and ripped a hole in the floor. i decided to fix it because of its sentimental value. i had the frame fixed and some body work done. i plan on going with a cobra theme that includes front and rear cobra disc brakes, stalker front clip, rear cobra bumber, cobra r hood, sn95 seats redone to look like 03-04 cobra seats with blue suede inserts(my stang is blue), all black interior,03-04 cobra wheels, tremec 3550, a worked up 5.0l, and much more. my other mustang is an 89 mustang notch that i plan to race. i have gutted the interior to lessen wieght, 6 point cage, 4.10 rear end, weld drag lites, and 351w backed up with a small block c6 and some NOS. but since i wrecked the stang, the racecar is on hold. i have been around mustangs all my life because of my dad. he owns an 03 mach 1, 69 mach 1, and a 67 shelby gt500(yes its real with 58k miles). i hope all of my questions can be answered on here. thanx. adam
