New Here...
Hi All!
Haven't had much to do with Mustangs until recently, oh, over the years, Dad had a 64 1/2 sedan that ended up with a 351 Windsor, two 65 sedans that stayed bone stock with 289 & 3 speeds, and a 66 sedan, 289 auto. My own cars were a 65 2+2, 289 4 speed, a 67 GT, 390 4 speed, 4:11's and locker, and of all things, a 1976 Mustang II Mach I. Oh yeah, there were a couple of '69 Torino GT fastbacks (351W/autos)....
Also raised 10 kids, so none of the cars stuck around. My sons, however, in the last five years got the Fox body bug, and ended up with nine of the things, then finally got a 65 Fastback built to the wall, and the other one a 67 Fastback with 4 barrel, 4 bolt main 351C and 4 speed with nine inch rear.
When they picked up the early cars, they moved the Fox's out, and for my birthday 'present', drove up with a '79 Pace Car replica (V8 and swapped-in C4) in pretty tough shape, though complete, other than the missing four speed.
Just trying to figure out what to do with the Pace Car, there's a 351W and FMX in the garage torn down that came out of a '69 Mach I that I figure to put in the thing, though I'd love to find a good Top Loader or C6 for it.....I guess, the question really is, restore or run the bejeebers out of it?
