new kid (chick) on the block
...coming through the newbie threads to say hello. hi! found this site quite by accident, but glad i did.
i have 2000 v6 coupe. now that the new Shelby GT500 is out and dealers in my area are starting to have them in their showrooms, i've been becoming a lot more serious about selling the '00. but anyway... this isn't an ad (although i should add it only has 29,000 miles and is in excellent condition!).
seriously though... as my luck would have it, the "check engine" light has come on (could i possibly get a clearer sign to sell?!). i know what the problem is (vacuum leak)... this is why i'm glad i found this site -- i'm off to ask for advice. hopefully the next time i come back, it's for more positive reasons and not because my luck's kicked my *** again.

Welcome!! And are you seriously considering the Shelby?? What dealer is this, I have yet to see one on the road/in person (not counting the philly car show)! Think they'd take me seriously if I showed up in the Terminator? haha
