Hey!
Just picked up my first classic Mustang this weekend! Car: 1967 A-code Convertible, 4-speed Had a 95 Conv, years ago. Have wanted a classic for as long as I can remember.
It is a project car. My wife and son are just as anxious to get working on it as I am. We are trying to figure out just how much we want to do to it. Motor upgrades, styling, and paint scheme. We have tons of ideas and now we have to make them fit within a reasonable budget. (Yeah, right!)
It looks like all the rust issues have been taken care of with replacement metal from the previous owner who could not continue with the restoration. The motor will need to be rebuilt. How we rebuild it is one of those big questions. Then there’s the trans… to replace or not to replace, that is the question…
Plan is to do a complete restoration, rotisserie style. Here's a pic as it looks today.
