Hello Everyone.. im new to the forums and i need some good advise. I have recently come across a virgin 1989 LX 5.0 in Mint shape, 160,000 original Km. No Mod's what so ever.But that is changing. Im going to the experts on what i should get.. First i am looking for Header's...what the best?...keeping in mind this will be a street car.. not a drag.Ive made my decision on Magnaflow exaust 2.5 to 3'tip and also what isthe best cold air induction. Any help will be appriciated.. Pics Comming soon

As far as a good cold air induction system you can't go wrong with a BBK cold air system....I installed on on my 96 Stang and you wouldn't believe the acceleration.....And for headers depending whether your going with shorty or long tube there are several to choose from.....I've been told the BBK hearders are good also......I'm fixing to install the BBK headers on mine soon.....you can get these on the shorty's for around $300.....the lngtube are alittle more......hope this helps you out......

 

The BBK headers helped my car a lot on bottom end. I went the cheap route and got the $160 chrome bbk shorties. As soon as I fired it up they turned blue. If looks aren't that important, get the chrome shorties, but if you want a shine get the ceramic coated headers but they are around $300.
