I do have a few pics. But with explaination. I have had the car for a long time. Once I finished University I decided to head overseas to Japan. I have been here for 10 years and my father has been very good about starting the car every week for me. I owe him big for that. The current engine is a pre 70 429 ( The speed shop I used stated something about a Thunderjet which from what I can tell is just a name given to the Thunderbird 429's ) and it was a fresh rebuild with .030 over with a RV cam and flat top pistons. The carb is a Holley 750 DP ( 80cc to the front and 30cc to the rear.) . The speed shop also estimated about 475-525 hp without using the dyno to know. No matter to though. My previous 429 before this one made a bit of ventilation in the side of the block the size of a baseball glove. Very messy indeed. Currently an auto with intent to convert it to a 5spd Tremec or a nice toploader. The paint was stripped off just before coming to Japan and has sat in primer for all this time. Soon I will be heading back, selling my current project and returning to the beast. So as it sits, waiting for a strip down, clean and paint with a few tasteful adjustments...she awaits...on blocks and usually covered up.
Sorry for the low quality pics...the mother doesn't takes pics so well.
