Hey guys , my name's randy im 25 , i just purchased a 65 well actually 64 1/2 d code mustang . Ive had some classic chevys in the past ,then i got into imports for a while with a turbo honda i built . Now i decided i had to get back to the classics lol . It has a 302 in it from a 68 with a 2 barrel , c4 trans and what i think is a 8.8 rearend . I ran the vin and dataplate and found that it was originally a 289 4 speed ragoon red with red interior . This is the most complete vehicle ive started with but there are quite a few things i want to change or update . I think im going to try to keep the things that show its a 64 1/2 , but it doesnt have the right motor or a 4 speed so there is where ive started . I just recieved my performer intake permastar finish , 600cfm 4 barrel same finish , performer cam lifter kit . edelbrock polished waterpump , mallory unilite distributor , mallory promaster coil , chrome alternator 60 amp 1 wire . im trying to make it more of a show car and fun cruiser right now . When i picked it up last week i t had the 14 in wire hubcaps i bought 15 in cragar ss's and bfg radial ta's
