Just joined the forum. I am building an 85' GT, am building a 429 to go in the car.
Mustangs are new to me, I previously had a 68' chevelle, so I will have plenty of questions. I look fwd to participating in this forum.

Wow thanks for the warm welcome. I'm using the 429 because I picked it up for free. Have seen several foxes with 460's so it will fit, will need special oil pan and headers and will probably go with a motor plate setup for mounting. I just sold the chevelle because I could not afford to build the mustang without selling the chevelle. The chevelle was great, had a 406 small block with AFR heads, ran low 12's in the 1/4 and was very streetable, I could drive it anywhere. The reason I am building the mustang is because I got the itch to build a 10 second car, it will be street legal but more of a drag car.
