Default Power Steering & Transmission

Hi All...I recently got a 2000 mustang GT, it had 45000 miles on it, the carz runnin good but for a few things...like the power steering makes a low rumbling noise when I turn left and I think the steering feels a lil stiff juz around certain spots....and reverse gear is not engaging quite well..it engages with lil difficulty sometimes....does anybody know whats wrong with the power steering...or is it usual with mustangs...i checked the power steering fluid and its full...i dont know abt the motor though....will it help if i drain the power steering fluid and top it up again? Also the car is lil squeaky when u go over bad bumps....is there any trouble spots which i should look for and tighten up the nuts and bolts perhaps? Other than that the car sounds and runs well....Any words of advice would help. Thanks.
