Default New to the site and my first Mustang

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site. I hope I can learn a few things here about hooking up my new Stang. I just got a 1967 Mustang with a 390 engine and gran turismo interior with aluminum polished dash and door panels. My plan was to buy this car and resell it. I wanted to know some of your opinions. I like the 66' body but the one I just got as you can see is the 67'. I can't make up my mind about selling mine and getting a 66' coupe. What do you guys think?

Welcome to the forums, as for selling it to get a 66 thats entirely up to you, can't go wrong with a fastback. As for the 19s and 18s you might want to drop by our Classic Mustang subforum and ask the guys about clearance and whatever other issues you might run into.

Keep the 67.

Fastbacks are so much sweeter to mod!

I like the difference in stance you mention.

Nice wide meat in the back and decent size up front.

The 390 is a sweet motor.

Had a 390 Marauder in my 68 LTD w/ T-LOK.

Could BAKE the tires like it was nothing! (especially when the transmission kickdown lever bracket snapped and stuck the thing in WOT!!!!!!

Turned the key OFF and it was dieseling at 4,000 RPM!!!!!!! Engine wouldn't shut off!!

Wish I had a camera back then.... 300 FT of BLACK strips down the road until I could stall it out!!

Had this cool little BLUE light that came on when the engine was cold too...

Welcome aboard!!

SOHC

PS: Keep the 67. If I'm not mistaken, 67 is when extra safety equipment was added to US cars...

Welcome man. Keep the 67. Fastback's are way better. Whatever you go with, I'm sure it will be a bad a** car
