Hello everyone! I've been reading here for about a year when I was researching for a new car. Now that I got my Mustang I decided to finally register. I've been on LiStangs.com a lot, I'm guessing there's some people here from there as well. Anyway, just wanted to say hello to the forum!

Welcome, whatyear and model(V6,GT,Cobra) mustang ya got?

 

I got a 2007 Vista Blue V6 Pony Package, without sidestripe. It's a big jump from a 1995 Ford Windstar 3.8 V6... (that's where I learned to love the Ford V6) It was the only thing in the van that I liked.

Nice, are you planning on doing any mods

 

Absolutely. That was one of the biggest reasons I chose the car: Rigid chassis, iron block V6, forged rods, auto tranny rated for 550 ft-lbs, and a huge aftermarket!

I'm not gonna do any mods just yet. I have some long thought out plans, but for now I'm doing groundwork stuff, like learning more specific stuff about the car, as well as maintenance. There's no point modding the car if I don't take care of it first. Besides, it's a daily driver in addition to my toy.

I bought the car with the intention of having it for a long time. And by long time, I mean when the engine and tranny die... swap for something better! Future engines FTW!! lol
