Hey everyone! My name is Zach and I currently live in Dublin, Ohio but originally from Queens N.Y. In the next few days I plan on buying my first car, a 1989 Mustang LX 4cyl 5spd, with plans to convert it to a 5.0. I was just looking for some guidance as to what needs to be done to make the car V8 ready as far as the tranny, shocks, etc. Also I need a few suggestions as to what low-cost power-adders I can start off with. Any help is much appretiated!

Have you all ready found the 6cyl. you want to convert. It seems like you should consider the V8 right from the start, no parts to look for. Or are you wanting to ride the insurance rate of the 6??

 

its a stock 4cyl. yea im just trying to keep the insurance low and still have fun with a project car.
