Default Newb with a coolant problem.

[align=left]Whats up guys My name is Mike and I am kinda new to fords but I am mechanically inclined. I just purchased a 1987 Ford mustang T-Top 5.0 5 spd. I am getting coolant in the oil. I havent taken the head off yet. but what is the chance it could be a cracked block or a messed up head? any input would be awesome.

Could be all you mentioned, or a bad head gasket depending on the mileage or engine condition. Also, check your water pump gasket, you're definitely getting leakage and gaskets get brittle with age and heat. Ya gotta get this solved quick or as you're probaly aware you'll blow the engine. Good luck.
