Good price on this mustang?
Hey y'all:
I'm looking into getting a new mustang and one really caught my eye that I thought was at a good price. I figured if anyone would know if the price was a good value or not, it'd be y'all.
So here we go:
2007 Ford Mustang GT Premium (V8) Convertible - Red, with a black vinyl top
Optional Equipment (which is all that would really distinguish this car from the base models anyway):
235/50/Zr18 Tires
Automatic Transmission
Interior Upgrade Package
Active Anti-Theft System
Wheel Locking Bolts
Fron Seat Side Airbags
Sirius Satellite Radio
Convertible Boot Cover (What is this?!?!?!)
18" Premium Aluminum Wheels
Price is $31,740 with TT&L INCLUDED. It has 700 miles on it and has been sitting in the dealer's showroom and lot since last year presumably. This is supposed to be a year end-clearance item and it's their last 2007 on the lot.
So...is that a good price for it? I thought it was awesome when comparing it to how much it would cost me for a 2008 model with the same features, but that's probably not an accurate comparison. How much should the price of a vehicle depreciate after a year with only 700 miles driven on it?
I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!

RE: Good price on this mustang?
Holy **** that's cheaper than my 06 vert stang....the convertible boot cover is a piece of black foam/plasict/vinyl that would cover the top once it's down and tucked away on the back. I have one and I don't use...others do...

RE: Good price on this mustang?
I would want to know what all rebates are included in that price! I didn't pay much more than that for my 08 with no rebates. Doesn't sound bad though, buta lot depends on your location and the demand. Look on Edmunds.com and see what the invoice and incentives are. You might can get them down a tad more. Never hurts to try!! Good luck and I don't think you will go wrong with it!!!!
