I have a 2007 GT convertable when the dial is pointed to heat it only blows out the defroster. When i brought it to the dealer they said its normal they all do it. My 2005 GT convertable does not do the same, ???? if you have a 07 and it doesen't blow out the defroster when you set it to heat please let me know I'm trying to gather info to give to the dealer .Thanks Daba

Welcome to the forums, sounds like an annoying situation, if you haven't already, I would suggest talking to the guys in the 2005-2008 mustang subforum.

 

When you move the dial to cold does it do the same?
