CARB Approved???
hey,
i live in los angeles and i notice that on certain items like CAI and exhaust they either carb approved or not carb approved. what does this mean? if i get an exhaust system that is not carb approved what will happen?

California Air Resource Board
You will fail emissions if they get under the car and check the exhaust system if it's not CARB approved. Pypes Exhaust makes CARB approved exhaust systems. I will caution you though, their systems are not a factory fit out of the box. There will be some pipe-cutting that needs to be performed.
