I just bought a Mustang Coupe and hope that this group can help me out..

The VIN Number is: 6T07C105998

According to the VIN - it is a 1966.

The Title, however, says 1965. I asked about it at the Tag Office and they looked up the history for me and they told me it has been titled in Florida as a 1965 since it was purchased from a dealer. She was unable to provide any more details due to Public Record laws.

So... what is it? 1965 or 1966?

It is a 66. The "ornaments" in the cutout behind the doors show the 66 pattern. It should have roundspeedo also. 65's had the long sweeping speedo.

 

Looks 66 to me too.
