Hi everyone, just bought a 85 capri 5.0. It has the efi in it (the weird looking one that looks like a carb but has 2 injectors) It is auto 4 speed. Can anyone tell me the cheepest way to make this car faster? I have about $700 to spend. Is it hard to go to a later efi configuration like 87-93 or would it be better to go with a carb intake set up? If I were to go with later efi configuration what would I be looking to spend? Please help this newbie, I love 5.0 cars and have always wanted one- now I own 1 and want to make it faster!

congrats on the purchase. for $700...........not a whole lot you can do.....if it aint done already, get a set of gears and headers, then, upgrade the rest of the exhaust asap. other than that, buy a nitrous kit.......quick 75-150hp
