Default New guy

I have a 67 F/B I'm restoring and a 66 coupe I've restored to stock. I also have a 88 GT convertible I'd like to get some advice on. the convertible top motor went out and I got a replacment (ebay)and installed it. the top now goesdown just fine (little slow though compared to what it used to do) however can't get the topto go back up without a helping hand to get it to the center of it's run. I filled the motor reservoir to the top of the bottom of the hole in the end (dextron III) of the motor however it doesn't seem to help. Is there supposed to be some way top bleed the system?anyone know what I may have missed? thanks, stanguy
