Default 03 stang here

Hello, the topic says to check in here so I will do so. Just bought my first mustang on Fri, 2003 Torch red GT convertible, sport trim, manual tranny (wouldn't have it any other way!) Bought it with 24K on it, 1 owner clean title and carfax all that jazz, gently used as far as I can tell. Let me just say that I may very well be a mustang owner for life! i LOVE this car! Wanted an 05 GT but figured the kids needed food to eat Maybe someday....... Anyway, everything is stock right now, far as I know, but I plan to do some upgrades eventually. So thats me.

Good car. You will now be a Mustang fan for life. There is something about these cars that once you own one, you are hooked! They look great, sound fantastic and just sitting in it at a red light will irritate the heck out of every 16 year-old driving his mom's Accord!
Others might have different opinions, but I always started with the exhaust mods. Gotta have that 'it's not stock rumble." Tires and wheels came 2nd. So when that 16 year old buys his own Civic and he wants to run you, you can launch with minimal tire spin. And turn off the traction control! My '00 GT has it and when I first bought it, I tried to 'light 'em up' and it did not work out well. Glad no one was watching!
Enjoy your 'stang!!!!

Welcome to the pony world!

I always wanted a mustang, and when I got mine before I turned 18, I knew I was a mustang owner for life. The car just has something that gets under your skin and never lets go of ya!

Best of luck with the new ride.

Yeah, not that the stock on it sounds BAD, but I wanna get something a bit beefier, prob the catbacks for now. It came with brand new sumitomo 245/45ZR17's on it, not too sure about the grade of this tire (?) but they seem incredibly sticky, pretty hard to light 'em up even with the TC off. I am already hooked so bad on the stangs and only 3rd day owning one! Look forward to chatting with y'all on here.
