Hello all,

I am interested in a 96 Cobra. The only thing is that it has 101,000 miles on it and they want 8400. How do these cars hold up mileage wise? I would plan on driving it at least another 60 to 70,000 miles. How do they hold up under high mileage?

The reason that I was interested in this car is because I recently sold my 97 Z28 and bought a 2000 explorer. That was a mistake. I MISS the power!! I just happend to come upon this Cobra and thought I would check it out. Please let me know what you guys/gals think! Thanks.

That is a little steep. A buddy of mine just bought a 96 Cobra vert with 86000 miles for $9000 and it is damn near perfect. I suggest you buy a fox body and build a stout motor!!

What about the mileage though? Is that a lot of miles and how long do these cars hold up? Thanks.

They hold up as long as they are taken care of. Is that 101,000 papmered miles, or 101,000 driven hard and out up wet miles?
