Default Getting Started

Hey everyone. I'm new to this but after taking a look around this site I think I've found some help. I've got a stock 2002 GT and I want to start modding it. The problem is that I'm in college and don't have too much money. What does everyone think the best performance upgrades are for the dollar?

well, let me be the first to welcome you: welcome to the forum. now, for mods, bang for buck is definitely gears. granted, they dont give you any horsepower, but, for no more than $300-350(gears and installation), theyre your best bet. they make more use of the power you do have. after that, full exhaust, n2o, short-throw shifter if you have a 5-spd. those are usually people first mods, except for nitrous. i just threw that in there, cuz its a quick 75-150hp. but, there you have it. have fun. good luck on modding her
