Hi all, this is my 1st post here but I have been browsing the forum for a while now. I recently got a Vapor 08 GT Premium with the GT appearance package. So far, I have added a C&L CAI with tune (Brenspeed) & Pypes Offroad H-Pipe. I also put on black vinyl racing stripes. The intake and exhaust made a huge difference from stock, mainly from the tune. The exhaust sound great but I would recommend staying away from Pypes. I had quite a few problems with the install. They forgot to flare one of the pipes so I ended up having a lot of the (bolt on) system welded and I still have a leak at the headers.

I have a question for all you 05-08 owners. I live in Germany so I get to drive 100+ just about everyday. The problem is, at 110+ my hood seems like it wants to fly off. I have read a couple threads about it but does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? It almost seems like it needs to be latched on the sides.

Well, I just ordered the Ford Racing Hood Latch Kit (Pins), so hopefully that will solve my problem. I always liked the way they looked too. I am not too crazy about drilling my hood butI will just take my time & make sure I do it right. Thanks for all the feedback, it is nice to see a forum where people are actually helpful.

Welcome to the forums...I spent 8 years in Germany...I know what you mean about 100+. Too bad I didn't have my mustang back then.
