New here from Michigan.

I went down to VA Beach last august to pick up this ole girl. 89 LX 5.0 Hatchback. I'm only the second owner. it only has 92,000 miles, and has a brand new complete MAC performance exaust system starting with the longtube headers feeding 2.5 inch dual exaust with H-pipe and dual 3 inch stainless tips. This thing SOUNDS GREAT if nothing else. It also has a CAI, and is supposibly chipped, but i havent verified that yet. Interior had some NASTY looking seat covers, but i pulled them off and the interior looks like BRAND NEW. Its never been without seat covers. Runs like a raped ape, but looks like grandma's grocery getter right now, but any of you northerners can apprieciate how rare it is to see a mostly ORIGINAL rust free fox body.

I orderd a fiberglass SVO style hood and the cobra wing. It was supposed to be here friday. It still isent here.
I already bought a new 6 piece clear headlight assembly, a few misc. interior pieces, all new infinity speakers, 3 12 inch JL W3's (probly only use 2) new FMS lowering/high rate springs, all new energy suspension poly bushings, 17x9 cobra r wheels with 255/40/17 tires (yeah i know, played out) all new weatherstripping, emblems, etc etc etc..... Hopefully the govt. gets our rebate checks out soon so i can afford new red paint [:'(]


Right now, i've got it pretty much stripped down ready to start scuffing for paint. I need to get rollin on the suspension work very soon too. Please let me know what you think, and i'm open to suggestions. Here is a picture of what i want it to basically look like. Maybe this is someones on the forum? I stumbled on the picture once and could never find it again

Nice hatch, only suggestion... take the bra off... i had one on for along time... and got hassled so much..

I hated it too.

i like the plans you have for it.

yeah the bra was put on by the original owner. I took it off soon as i got it home lol

Plus, it would look like crap on a ram air SVO hood haha.
