hey guys
Hey new to these forums.. awesome to see a place that has a lot of information on our cars and people that love them. hard to find sometimes. I love cars, im a semester away from graduating as a mechanical engineer and a week away from completeing my design project that was to design and build a formula racing car and worked as a mechanic working on mostly fords for a summer job the past 4 years.
i own a 1998 mustang 3.8 v6 manual for about 4 - 5 years now. done a few things to it to get to a ride that i liked. bilstiens shock struts and spring package, swapped rear with a older gt put in 3.55 ring and pinion, added quad shocks and enjoy the limited slip for sure. switched to true dual exhaust with flowmaster original 40's with a cold air intake. and a few other things here and there, factory fog's, shifter other things.
after i got that car i apparently started a trend and about 5 of my good firends got mustangs it was awesome, and have to say vs all the imports everyone apparently drive in this town after i felt the feel of a muscle car for the first time never going back.
car is definatly getting old, still new to me but got big plans for my car here in a year or so. v8 swap for sure leaning toward the 3v engines, lowering while keeping suspension geomtry perhaps design and build a k member sounds fun, relocating some of the components, adding traction control
i think i attached some pictures of it
