Default lookin for a new stang

Hey i just join the forums,
First off, im lookin for my first car of my own.
Mydad has a 1994 mustang gt convertible with the usual bolt ons. its an automatic and i drive that around. After taking it to the 1/4 mile i want something faster, and definatley a standard.
Im lookinfor a earlier 4.6 SOHCwhich i will probably end up putting heads, intake and maybe some other mods into. What would be the best heads and intake to put into a 4.6 and how much hp would i expect out of this? a few of my buddies from school got done up 4 bangers and i definately have to be able to show them what a v8 can do.
Any and all advice is appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the boards. It would be best to post this in the appropriate tech section for the year model you're looking into. Those sections are checked more frequently.
